June’s Summit will be led by a panel of experts discussing how to lead with influence when you don’t have authority. Program managers and change managers take note! Our three experts are change leaders and professional influencers who will talk about organizational change and cross-pollinating leadership when you are responsible for a change outcome from individuals who don’t report directly to you.

What you’ll take away:

• How to evaluate your audience to understand their communication needs.
• How and when to get involved in day-to-day tasks so people can follow suit.
• How to determine the tone of your communication when influencing specific audiences.

Panelists

Leading without Authority Natalie Ackerman is CEO of Talent Edge Group, Inc. She is a Certified Executive & Leadership Development Coach and Career Management Coach. Natalie has held leadership roles leading cross-functional teams and projects inside of Fortune 500 companies and understands business needs from an organizational perspective. Her experience spans dozens of industries and functional areas with companies such as: US Bank, Starkey, Sleep Number, Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP, Bellisio Foods, CVS, Valley Fair, Ameriprise, Uponor, MOCON, MarCor, Carestream, Caterpillar, IWCO, University of St. Thomas and E.A. Sween. 

Janet Polach, Ph.D. is a coach, team developer and change management expert. She is known for her ability to empower and coach leaders and teams to make a positive impact, coach for strengths and identify opportunities that position businesses and people to succeed. Jade Denson is VP, Programming & Member Experience at MnTech. Jade is a passionate relationship builder responsible for finding ways to deepen MnTech’s partnerships with member companies and the broader community. Her work involves identifying impactful engagement opportunities for MnTech members and seeking out ways to collaborate with other Minnesota organizations who are driving technology and innovation forward. Jade’s role at MnTech combines her personal and professional values of fostering innovation and collaboration while keeping people at the forefront. Although originally from California, Jade graduated from Grinnell College in Iowa and has spent the last 6 years building her life in Minnesota. She enjoys collecting art, supporting local artists and attending events in her community.
